I made this track soon after we knew we had a pending deal with Capitol Records. I started to have a good musical flow for the direction of the album to come. I mailed Keith a cassette tape with a few proposed tracks, but it It wasn't until July 1994, when i clearly remember sitting with Keith at his kitchen table in the Bronx, when he read me off some of the lyrics to this track. I was stunned, when i heard how dope he was coming. I still don't know why this song never made the original Sex Style album when we went with a big bag of DAT tapes to master the album a couple years later in North Hollywood.-Kurt
I remember when I recorded Rubba Love, we went and bought this toy from the toy store and it was kinda creative for me to use it in the vocal booth. It sorta had this Vocoder feel and that toy ended up being a popular sound throughout the album.-Keith
